Latin Percussion, Vocal, and Ensemble Workshops
I teach workshops for both beginners and professional musicians. These include the foundations of salsa music: the concept of clave, rhythmic structures, and fundamental techniques for instrument performance. With more advanced students, I focus on interpretation, improvisation, and stage presence. In addition, I offer guidance and mentoring in arranging and composition.
Colombian Folklore: “Pacific for Everyone!”
In my workshops at primary and secondary schools, children and young people discover Colombia’s geography, its cuisine, and its vibrant traditions, along with an introduction to the rhythms of the Pacific Coast, where I come from. In a relaxed and playful environment, participants learn traditional songs and their corresponding dance steps.
