Horizontes is Alberto Caicedo’s third studio album and his most personal work to date. In it, the artist draws an emotional and sonic map that connects his Afro-Colombian roots with a contemporary perspective on Latin music.
Composed, arranged, and produced by Caicedo himself, the album moves fluidly between modern salsa, Colombian Pacific folklore, jazz, and bachata, exploring themes such as resilience, love, identity, and hope.
From the contagious energy of Salsa en Pata Pata to the emotional introspection of El Amor No Entiende, and through the homage to his homeland in La Tierra de la Belleza, Horizontes stands as a declaration of creative freedom and a tribute to collective memory.

En vivo desde Cali

En Vivo Desde Cali! is the first live EP by Colombian vocalist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Alberto Caicedo, recorded in the cradle of salsa with internationally renowned musicians. This production captures the essence of his powerful fusion between Afro-Colombian Pacific heritage and the vibrant energy of contemporary salsa.
Divided into two sessions, the EP features collaborations with members of the renowned group Herencia de Timbiquí, followed by a second part focused on the orchestral salsa format. The result is a diverse, profound, and authentic musical journey that reaffirms Caicedo’s artistic commitment to his roots and his ability to reinvent genres through a deeply personal lens.

With Con A Corazón Abierto, Alberto Caicedo takes a decisive step forward in his artistic evolution. This second album reaffirms his identity as a composer and arranger, fusing salsa with the sounds of Colombia’s Pacific region through a contemporary and deeply personal perspective.
Recorded in Europe and produced with internationally acclaimed musicians, the album features eleven tracks, ten of them written by Alberto himself. With original arrangements and lyrics that speak of land, love, and life, the album reveals a mature artist who sings with his heart in hand and the heritage of Guapi resonating in his voice.
La música and El amor de mi madre stand out as two of the most endearing themes of this production, which pays homage to his roots while simultaneously engaging in dialogue with the world.
La Voz de Colombia
2006

La Voz de Colombia marked the beginning of Alberto Caicedo’s recording career and his official entry into the European salsa scene. Released in 2006 under the Walboomers Latina label, this debut album is a tribute to his roots and a testament to his talent as both a composer and vocalist.
Produced by renowned Venezuelan percussionist Gerardo Rosales, the album presents a vibrant blend of salsa, Latin pop, and Colombian folklore. Most of the tracks were written by Caicedo in collaboration with Rosales, resulting in an authentic musical proposal full of flavor and character.
Featuring songs such as Colombia Te Canto, El Suavecito, and La Voz de Colombia, the album was praised by critics as “a tremendous effort that is worth it from the very first track” (American Descarga), positioning Caicedo as a new voice to watch in Europe.
